TPCE VOLUNTEER WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Before volunteering at our event, please carefully review and acknowledge this Waiver and Release of Liability. Your participation in the Expo/Event signifies your understanding and agreement to comply with all terms and conditions outlined herein.

1. Introduction

Upon being granted the opportunity to volunteer at the event hosted by The Peoples Choice Expo (hereinafter referred to as 'TPCE'), I, representing the volunteer, hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that volunteering at the TPCE event may involve inherent risks, including, but not limited to, the following:

Physical injury due to slips, falls, tripping, or collisions
Contact with hazardous materials or substances
Exposure to inclement weather
Mishaps or accidents involving equipment or machinery
Acts of violence or other criminal activity
Any other unforeseen risks associated with the event

I understand that TPCE cannot guarantee my safety and that I participate in the event at my own risk.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless TPCE, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and insurers (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with my participation in TPCE, regardless of whether such claims are based on negligence, strict liability, breach of contract, or any other legal theory.

This release of liability extends to, but is not limited to, claims for:

Personal injury or death
Property damage
Loss of income or earning capacity
Medical expenses
Pain and suffering
Emotional distress

4. Assumption of Responsibility

I understand that I am responsible for my own safety and well-being during the TPCE event. I agree to follow all instructions and guidelines provided by TPCE, its staff, or volunteers. I agree to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the event activities. I understand that I should not participate in any activity that I believe to be unsafe or beyond my physical capabilities.

5. Medical Insurance

I understand that I am responsible for obtaining and maintaining my own health insurance. TPCE shall not be responsible for providing or paying for any medical expenses incurred by me as a result of my participation in the TPCE event.

6. Media Release

I grant TPCE the irrevocable right to use my name, image, and likeness in any and all media, including photographs, videos, and recordings, for promotional or other purposes without any compensation to me.

7. Entire Agreement

This Waiver and Release of Liability constitutes the entire agreement between me and TPCE concerning my participation in the TPCE event and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

8. Governing Law

This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas

9. Severability

If any provision of this Waiver and Release of Liability is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Counterparts

This Waiver and Release of Liability may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.

Through my participation in any TPCE event, I acknowledge having read and comprehended this Waiver and Release of Liability. I voluntarily consent to abide by all its terms and conditions.
